Today, we decided to get off I-90 and take 212 to the Little Bighorn National Monument before heading to Bozeman, MT. We love going through the smaller towns like we did on our Loop Adventure. It really gives you a better feel for our country. By traveling on 212 we crossed over from SD to WY to MT within a half an hour of one another…CRAZY!

It seemed we traveled forever on the Crow Reservation. The reservations make me sad since so many of the homes are either very tiny boxes or beat up looking trailers…and of course casinos.
As you can see, we had another gorgeous day to travel.

We made a slight detour to the Little Bighorn National Monument and National Cemetery.
Thanks to a 1983 fire in the park, many more artifacts were uncovered
The monuments show where people died and it really hits you how spread out this battle was
After Will's talk, we toured some of the battlefield before heading on to Bozeman Dragon Boat friends
Our view of Yellowstone on the way to Bozeman
Thursday night street celebration downtown
Mike and Ping, my FL dragon boat team mate
Haven't a clue???
Taking a photo of Kathy, Ping's wife
Kathy and Ping gave us the Bozeman Grand Driving Tour after a wonderful dinner at a new Mexican restaurant and a walk around downtown. Great seeing them!!!
